As a nonprofit organization, Equipping the Called is run primarily by volunteers. So we are always looking for individuals and groups to help us serve the children and families in our community.

Community Drive Outreach Coordinator
Description
This volunteer or group will help host drives for new items. This is great for community and church groups!
Requirements
- Develop and maintain relationships with churches and community organizations
- Good interpersonal skills
- Well organized
- Implement strategies for organizations to host drives
- Work with program director in coordinating with churches and organizations
Fundraising Event Coordinator
Description
This person will oversee fundraising events and drives.
Requirements
- Experience managing events and/or coordinating fundraising efforts strongly preferred
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
- Flexible, team player who is service oriented with high-level interpersonal skills
Stock & Organize Closet Items
Description
This volunteer or volunteer group will assist with stocking and keeping items organized.
Requirements
- Dependable
- Physically and mentally healthy
- Having volunteer experience is preferred but not required
- Have a strong desire to help people and the community
- Good organizational skills and strategies
Clean Facility Once A Month
Description
This volunteer or volunteer group will assist with cleaning the facility once a month.
Requirements
- Dependable
- Physically and mentally healthy
- Having volunteer experience is preferred but not required
- Cleaning experience preferred but not required
Pick Up Diapers Once A Month
Description
This volunteer or volunteer group will assist with picking up diapers once a month.
Requirements
- Dependable
- Have access to a vehicle (crossover, SUV, minivan)
- Physically and mentally healthy
- Having volunteer experience is preferred but not required
- Have a strong desire to help people and the community
Business Contact
Description
This volunteer will be our business liaison. They will connect and visit businesses for sponsorships and donations.
Requirements
- Have a friendly, outgoing personality
- Be able to call upon and build a directory of business contacts
- Be able to communicate or mission and build connections with business partners/donors.
